JajanTracker Privacy Policy

Thank you for using JajanTracker. Your privacy is our priority. This document explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when using the JajanTracker app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information to ensure our service runs smoothly:

• Account Information
  Email address and name you provide when registering. If you choose to upload a profile photo, we collect and store the image file you upload.
• Device Information
  Device model, operating system, language settings, and unique identifiers (e.g., IDFA, GAID).
• Activity Data
  Transaction records and how you use the app’s features.
• Message and Communication Data
  If you use JajanTracker's messaging features, we collect and store messages exchanged between you and JajanTracker Customer Experience.
  This may include:
  • Message content.
  • Sender and recipient information.
  • Date and time of message creation.
  • Related communication records required to provide messaging functionality.
  JajanTracker may send Direct messages when private guidance, assistance, or other communication is appropriate. Some Direct messages may allow you to reply, while others may be read-only.
  Messages are stored as part of the JajanTracker service history. Users cannot modify or delete messages after they have been sent.
• Profile Information Used in Communication
  When using messaging features, certain profile information may be displayed to identify participants in the conversation.
  This may include:
  • Profile photo, if provided.
  • Name associated with the account.
  • Role or account category assigned by JajanTracker.
  Your profile information is not made publicly available through the messaging feature. It is used to identify you to JajanTracker Customer Experience personnel involved in the communication.
• Advertising Data
  Information from Google AdMob to deliver relevant ads, including your engagement with them. JajanTracker configures advertising requests with privacy-protective settings intended to restrict personalized advertising. Google AdMob may process limited information necessary to deliver and measure advertisements in accordance with Google’s policies. AdMob may also use publisher first-party identifiers (“Publisher First-Party IDs”) to help deliver more relevant and personalized ads, using privacy-safe technologies such as on-device processing.
• Location Data
  General location (e.g., country) inferred from IP address for compliance and ad targeting.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide a smooth and personalized app experience.
• Help you track spending by categorizing transactions.
• Provide private messaging between you and JajanTracker Customer Experience.
• Provide guidance, assistance, and relevant service communication through Direct messages.
• Deliver messages to intended recipients and maintain communication history.
• Display relevant profile information to identify participants in private communication.
• Show advertisements through Google AdMob using privacy-protective ad request settings that restrict personalized advertising.
• Use publisher first-party identifiers to improve ad relevance and analytics performance in line with Google’s privacy policies.
• Comply with regional legal and consent requirements.
• Improve features based on usage data.
• Display, update, or delete your profile photo based on your actions within the app settings.

3. AI-Generated Images

JajanTracker uses AI-generated images for certain visual elements, such as banners, personas, and educational illustrations. These images are entirely fictional and do not depict real individuals. No personal data is collected, used, or inferred during their creation or display.

4. Messages and Communication

JajanTracker provides messaging features for private communication between users and JajanTracker Customer Experience.
JajanTracker may initiate Direct messages to provide private guidance, assistance, or other relevant communication. Depending on the purpose of the message, JajanTracker may enable or disable replies.

To provide this feature:

• Messages may be stored after being sent.
• Message recipients are determined when the message is created.
• Users can reply only to Direct messages for which replies have been enabled.
• Users cannot modify or delete messages that have already been sent.
• Message content is not used for advertising purposes.
• Messages and associated profile information may be accessed by JajanTracker Customer Experience personnel as necessary to provide guidance, assistance, or other relevant communication.
• If a user's account or identity information is deleted, certain message history may remain available without being associated with personally identifiable information.

JajanTracker messaging is not currently intended for public discussions or direct communication between regular users.

5. Consent and Preferences

We ask for your consent to use your data for personalized ads and analytics in compliance with laws in the U.S., EU/EEA, and other regions.

• For iOS, we use AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) to request permission before tracking (IDFA).
• You can opt out at any time in your device settings:
• iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• You can also manage how publisher first-party identifiers are used by adjusting your AdMob or Google account ad settings.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share or make data available as described below:

• Google AdMob
  To deliver relevant advertisements and measure ad performance. If publisher first-party IDs are enabled in your AdMob account, these identifiers may be shared with Authorized Buyers, Open Bidders, or SDK Bidders according to Google’s Publisher Policies. Learn more in Google’s Privacy & Terms.
• Customer Experience Communication
  Your name, profile photo (if provided), messages, and other information necessary for the conversation may be visible to JajanTracker Customer Experience personnel when providing private guidance or assistance through the messaging feature.
  This information is not made publicly available through JajanTracker messaging and is not shared with advertisers for the purpose of your Customer Experience communication.
• Authorities
  If required by law or necessary to protect our rights or users' rights.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Withdraw or change your consent via your device settings.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
• Delete your account via app settings or by contacting us directly.
• Change or remove your profile photo anytime through the app’s account settings.

When you delete your account, personal account information may be removed. However, certain communication records may remain as part of the service history and may no longer be associated with your identity.

8. Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your information. However, no system is entirely secure. Please safeguard your login credentials and account access information.

9. Children’s Privacy

JajanTracker is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We recognize that users aged 13 to 17 may be considered minors under applicable laws. Where required, we apply appropriate privacy and data protection measures for younger users.
